| Do you guys think the Losties will put up a good fight and eventually drive the 'others' back? If Juliet defected to the Losties, she may provide important information on how the 'others' will attack, so there would be a defense set up. However, if she has not been defected to the Losties (i.e. still with the 'others' we see if she will try and stop the Losties from doing it. Therefore it may reveal what side she is on. |

| yeah...i also think that Losties will put up a good fight against the 'otrhers'. As for Juliet, we don't know if she will defect to the Losties or not. But we might know in next weeks episode. |

With the issue of Juliet joining the Losties, I think that even if she did want to help them I am not sure that many people would accept her after what she did to Sun. They all now know about the tape recorder and may not trust her again.
I would say that Juliet would want to join the Losties because if we think back a few episodes, when she was recording the message about Sun's baby, she stopped the recording and said to Ben "I hate you." |

| Maybe she'll use her trust with the others to trick them, like mark a tent and when the other come jack runs out the tent and shoots them or something. |

| From the episode before last weeks one. We hear Sawyer play that tape to the rest of the Losties, when Jack and Juliet knows about and Heard that tape being played. So before that episode ended, both Jack and Juliet plans to tell the Rest of the Losties something important. So after the talk, i would think that the Losties would understand what was going on so they may end up believing her or at least partially believe what she says. |

| Based on the explosion it possible that Jack got more explosive from the Black Rock. As we know the 'others' like to travel through forest (so they can easier hide). So all Jack need to do is to set up traps using explosive near the tree lines where the 'others' most likely to enter the Losties Camps and also set up traps near and surrounding tree lines, due to the fact they don't know which direction the 'others' will come and attack. |

| Maybe Rosseau knows and is involved as well. We know she hates the others for taking her daughter, ands in the preview we see an explosion and rosseau had gone and gottn dynamite in the one were sawyer kills sawyer. |

| yeah...Danielle could have joined forces with the Losties because he knows more about their travel around the island secretly, that's how she can avoid them for 16 years. She could of helped placing of the dynamites. |

Ben i think is hiding something we don't know. I think Ben kept Jacob prisoner there. When Ben reluctantly show Locke to see Jacob. When Lock passed over what it looks like a trail of ash surrounding the cabin.
Also when Ben was yelling a Jacob "That's enough!" Sounds like Ben is the leader and also how Jacob said to Locke "Help Me!". If Jacob were to be the leader, Ben would of giving Jacob the respects and wouldn't be stuck inside the circle of ashes.
If Jacob was stuck inside the circle of Hatch hows does Jacob communicate with Ben, because Ben said Jacob is a person that summons you not a person to visit.
Any thoughts? |

Maybe Ben is just playing with Locke's mind, because Smokey could have form up that image of Jacob like it did with Jack's father, Kate's Black horse and Hurley's friend Dave. But although we didn't see on the outside of the cabin that Smokey could be on the outside and it also happens to be Ben showing Locke at night as well.
So Smokey could be the culprit in that sense because we all know Smokey is strong (able to shake that cabin and break windows), it can form images of people form the Losties's past (so it can also form images not related to anyone - e.g. Jacob). Also by breaking the window as a cover from the shaking of the cabin, it is an easy getaway.
The camera also didn't stay very long on that scene (following Locke out of the cabin) and it was also at night as well, so it could be Smokey. |

I was saying in another thread (but other threads aren't as good) that are the "natives" (ie hostiles) really native? They can't continue past the first generation (no births)(that mightn't be an issue, what with richard not aging and all). They don't know what smokey is (re juliet's comment with the sonar fence in the one were she's handcuffed to kate. Though juliet's not native surely the others would have shared knowledge with the nonnative others) and they seem to either be unnaware or not in tune with jacob. Lastly, should the volcano have erupted then surely on such a small island everyone would have been killed (really depends on the size of the 'cano)
Any thoughts? |

last episode (i.e. Ben's Episode) makes it seems like the 'others' are still native on the island (of course Dharma would think that because the 'others' was there first).
But having said that we still clearly don't know the origins of the 'others', at the moment we think they are from Hanso who brought them there. But we know Hanso funded Dharma but the only person who defected to the 'others' is Ben. so that still leaves the question where did the 'others' come from? |
