It works out perfectly:
Michael after being away for so long has finally come back to right the wrongs of his past and getting the losties off the island. This is in fact one of the main plots of them getting off the island!
Okay, look at the aubituary or the article that was at the end of season 3 about the guy in the coffin, the two disntinguished letters giving an idea to the name are J and O, now it could be considered a first name, but there are possibilities that the first name was not visible or that the name was written Jo......,(first name).
How does Michael connect in to all this? Well what is his alias on the freighter? KEVIN JOHNSON! He probably assumed that identity before he died and after he saved everybody. Jack went there out of respect for Michael accomplishing what he set out to do, to save everybody! Nobody else would've come though, they are either dead, still on the island or still don't forgive him for what he did.
I'm sure that more of this will come to unfold, maybe more reasons, but it makes sense right now that Michael is the only candidate. |

Yeah, makes sense, and another reason why nobody is at the funeral is because everybody he used to know would have known him as Michael, not as Kevin Johnson.
Good idea, guess we'll just have to wait for things to unfold! |

| actually in Cristian's funeral they were all present and Jack gave a speech. this was a few days after they returned. When he found Kate he had a beard and hadn't seen her for a long time. This is a diferent funeral and I heard that in the coffin was Locke. |

| I was wrong when I said that Cristian's funeral was a few days after the O6 returned home. It was some months later but still years earlier than the other funeral. In the FF with Jack and Kate, Aaron was like 3 years old or something and I guess we all agree that Jack's started to fall apart later on and change his opinion about getting of the island. About Locke I have no idea how he got of the island and why was his real name written in the obituary(if the Jo stands for John). |

PREPARE TO BE MAJORLY SPOILED!!!!
Its John Locke. He gets off the island in order to tell the Oceanic 6 to go back to the island. Thats why Jack says "They Have To Go Back."
But dont worry, Ben comes to the rescue and tells Jack that that John Can be bought back to life; If they can get back to the island....
Btw he got off the island VIA the frozen donkey wheel. |

Thats a big frozen wheel under the orchid. Unfreeze it and it will let you MOVE the island.
