HE says the statue was Annubis - i strongly disagree.

i do agree with you (*gasp*) about the time jump. Jack & co (most notably, Jin) will eventually have to end up with the guys in 2007. i see a teary reunion scene with Jin & Sun...
a few sites have associated Jacob falling into the fire like the Phoenix, will he rise from the ashes?
how did the Black Rock get inland? well, one day Jacob and Shirty were fishing and Jacob caught something really really big. he flicked his line behind his head and lo and behold, the ship fell in the middle of the island. Jacob is really Superman ; ) |

after reading Vozzek and watching Jacob in the car with Hurley, i think things can only change is Hurley initiates it?
Jacob's visit of Jack may have instigated Jack's disdain for his father, which lead Jack to dob in his dad for being drunk while operating... |

| I agree with you Srsen when you say it was not a bomb, it was indeed a time flash, same thing happened Season 2 finale, no one died they all ended up in really odd places, maybe all the losties will be thrown to different parts of the island, just like Desmond and Locke in Series 3 after the implosion. |

am rewatching the season. now that we know that Locke is infact not Locke but Flocke... i thought i'd see if there were any clues. i think i found 2...
both in ep 6 '316' when Jack and co have gone to see Eloise Hawkins she takes Jack aside and hands him Lockes suicide note. Where did she get that from???
also, she tells Jack that he has to take Locke's body back to the island to recreate the original flight.
she says that Locke will be a "proxy". how right she was! e ended up being a proxy for Shirty!
one must ask, how much does Eloise know? was she the one who instigated the idea of Locke having to die and then have his body taken back to the island for future use? or has she been in contact with Shirty somehow and he told her his plan for Locke? begs the question which side is she really on?
which side is anyone on?
Richard Alpert is a questionable character
Charles Widmore seems to be following Jacob
Ben is against Charles Widmore and following what Richard supposedly passes down from Jacob (who may well indeed be Shirty) so maybe without knowing it, Ben was always on Shirt's side.
Charles tells Ben mid season 5 that there is a war coming. the same thing that Jacob warned about? |

I believe Locke is dead, Juliette is dead & the finale was 'The Incident'! Darlton have been telling us all along that 'Dead is Dead' & that 'Whatever Happened, Happened' yet we theorize around it.
Flocke will still be around tho (can't get rid of Terry O'Quinn) & Juliette may be around in flashbacks or smokey/shirty image, but that death was way too fierce for it not to be left real - would kinda take away from it I think (Charlie had to really die for it to mean what it did to us!)...I do think that they'll all end up in present time & that was who Jacob was referring to in 'they're coming'.
His touching was helping him set up his game pieces where he wants/needs them to be (his 'loop') to counter shirties play pieces (or 'hole' that he was aiming for - ie hole in the loop or loophole if you will - opening scene gave us the answer?) |

Personally I'm really sad to see Juliette go as I thought she was the strongest female character in the show. Kates character has slowly been getting more annoying (then usual)& wishy washy (apart from the shoot out scene at the Swan, I don't think she missed) I would've rather have seen her sucked down & redeemed by beating the shlit out of an A-bomb.
And I thought Jack was trying to reset the past so that the crash wouldn't have happened & the other 100 odd passengers (including the ones we have loved & lost) wouldn't have died! You know Jack & his hero 'gotta save everyone' complex...not 'gee I frikked up with Kate lets start again' crrap! |

| Not all the reincarnated characters (Yemi, Christian etc) have bodies on the island. Bens mum for example didn't die on the island, but she was there to tell Ben to be patient. Do you think that some of these 'back from the dead' people are Smokey made, Shirty made & perhaps Jacob made? Different folks used by different beings used for different reasons? Do we have the black smoke & the white smoke? Perhaps bad & good (not necessarily in that order)? Hmmm... |
