| Does anyone think that Jacob’s nemesis could be called Esau? You know from the Biblical story. Isaac was his father, Esau was his twin brother. Jacob also had a struggle with an angel. Struggle with Ben? wasn't really a struggle, but couls be seen as the same thing. |

Yes, thats been mentioned. Definitely a bible connection, throw in some Egyptian mythology, good vs evil, dark vs light, a god vs satan story, a sacrifice, a judas and free will. A bit like The Chronicles of Narnia, mixed with the Lord of the Rings and you have Lost. What am show, I am just amazed of the storyline. The last episode was for the BEST thing ever I have seen on either movies or television. An amazing piece of story telling. I had no idea what I saw was going to happen. I wont spoiler it, but pure magic.
All the characters, jack, kate, sawyer, juliet are now thrown in this struggle, though they are just pawns.
The question now is do they know which side they are on.
As Whitmore, Eloise, and Ben have said, this is a war that is bigger than anything or anyone on the idea. Everyone claims they are the good guys. But are they? |

| It's gotta be his name. Not only was Esau hairier than Jacob, but the hint of twins during the whole show, makes me believe this theory. Jacob's son Joseph lead them into Egypt. |

The script 'bad twin' was feautured throughout the series.
Could be reffering to the struggle between Esau and Jacob. |

| They are angels, fallen angels, good and evil, one from heaven and one from hell. They have been there since the beginning of time waiting for someone to pass the "test". |
