| Did Ben kill Penny? I surely hope he didn't. Penny is too nice to be killed, but I guess Alex was too. But how else would he have had a bloody encounter. Which makes me wonder what happened to Desmond's son Charlie. Ms Hawkings told Desmond, that the island wasn't through with him yet. The island needed Desmond, what better way of compelling Desmond to go back to the island, then to take out revenge on Ben, since he's there now. I would go back to see Penny's dad, and join forces with him, and find the island together. Since they both have a common agenda. Widmore can't kill Ben or vice versa, but does this mean off the island or both. Since Desmond is unique, maybe only he can do it. Or do it young innocent Ben, when he comes to the island with his dad. Thus elliminating old Ben. |

| I think Ben did kill Penny or at least tried to BUT because that is the obvious conclusion then that usually means it's wrong. Charles Widmore knew that Desmond and Penny were going to L.A and it wouldnt surprise me if he had men secretly watching Penny. When Ben shows up to kill her, these men intervene before he has the chance and they beat the daylights out of him...thats one scenario, another one is that Desmond beat him up...whatever happened to him is probably something none of us have thought of yet. |

| I know that Alex is not Bens biological daughter and that it seems he stole Alex from Danielle, however we haven't seen the actual happenings of this came about. Anyway that is a bit harsh saying that he deserves it - I don't think anyone deserves that! |

He raised her from a newborn. He stole her because he thought she was unsafe with Danielle. |

| Since this is in the spoiler section, I will give you a heads up. I hear that in a future episode, Penny is in a hospital. So I guess Ben attempted to kill her but was defended by someone so that he couldn't fully do it. Good to her still alive though. |

Uh...Danielle was living underground and was mentally unstable. Alex was with Danielle in season 4 and Danielle got shot. If Alex had stayed with Ben at that stage, she'd be alive. |
