I just found this great article on ew.com. It is about the two skeletons which were found by Jack, Kate, Locke and Charlie in House of The Rising Sun in season 1. It really adds to my theory.
What is the meaning or significance of the two skeletons that Jack and Kate found in the cave of season 1?
CUSE: The answer to that question goes to the nature of the timeline of the island. We don't want to say too much about it, but there are a couple Easter eggs embedded in [the Feb. 7 episode], one of which is an anagram that actually sheds some light on the skeletons and hints at a larger mythological mystery that will start to unfold later in the season.
LINDELOF: There were certain things we knew from the very beginning. Independent of ever knowing when the end was going to be, we knew what it was going to be, and we wanted to start setting it up as early as season 1, or else people would think that we were making it up as we were going along. So the skeletons are the living — or, I guess, slowly decomposing — proof of that. When all is said and done, people are going to point to the skeletons and say, ''That is proof that from the very beginning, they always knew that they were going to do this.'' |

My theory is that Jack and kate get back to the island in the future and the whole time difference thing has happened and the island is in the past and all the DHARMA stations are missing and they have no choice but to go and live in the caves because they know from when they crashed onto the island that the caves are a safe place to live with food and shelter. I think jack and Kate will notice the skeletons are missing and will eventualy realise they were the skeletons all along.
However I havent worked out who laid them to rest or how they got the two black and white stones. |

| What is the "Feb 7" episode? Is that a new episode from Season 5 airing next Feb or is it a previous episode that has already aired? And if so, which one? I think we all would want to go check it out. |

What i'm guessing we've only got 34 episodes left of lost that's going by 17 episodes each for S5 & S6
Do you think there going to wrap up everything? I can't see it all fitting in.. But i guess it's just a matter of figuring it out with the clues we have been getting..
Bit of a puzzle i think |

| I've always wondered when the show was gonna shed some light on those 2 skeletons. Can anyone shed some light as to what was revealed on the Feb 7 episode as i don't record or download them. Also the Jack/Kate theory is also interesting but having them both on the island to die just doesn't seem to fit as it wouldn't be a very good ending. Also from what i remember all the oceanic 6 had to return not just Jack and Kate. So where is everyone else? |

| i think the skeletons are either penny and Desmond, jack and Kate or lock and walt (because at the beginning of season 1 when Locke is teaching walt about that game he shows him two game pieces ones black and the others white) |

| I have to agree with the last post. I believe the wreckage Jack finds near the caves is from an earlier time he crashed on the island... and the coffin is John's from when Ben and Jack make the Oceanic 6 return to the island. |

| who is connected to the island and between the age of 50 and 90. His or her parents. I say its Mr. Hawkins parents or widmore's parents. Could explain why widmore is drinking, like jack and Michael, the island might be calling him back 2, like it also did Libby and the charlotte |

| Just watched that ep last nite! And its a great 1, 2!(GET IT?) LOL! Anyway freaky! Have any of you thought of it being 2 random Dharma people who happened to die there, or they were part of dharma and died and were buried there? It sounds kinda wierd but the stones could be completely irrelevent! |

If we consider the fact that about a 100 days on the island is 3 years in the normal world, we have 2 possibilities for Adam and Eve.
1. They could have been there for 50 island years
This would mean that they have been there for 195 years in the real world
2. They have been there for 50 years so about 4-5 years in the normal world
-it could be 2 Dharma people that ran from Ben and Alperts slaughter
-Thats why wounds heal faster
-Thats why Yemi's decomposing body looked just like Adam and Eve's
- Same for the Dharma bodies
- Would mean that Dharma came to the island in 1980’s and for those involved on the island actually only 810 days past till 2007 , which is about the amount Desmond has been in the Hatch. |
