| I thought Oceanic was flying Australia/USA. Why were they being shown on an island off Indonesia - North West of Oz when the US is North East. They were supposed to be in the Pacific not the Indian ocean!! |

| The fake wreckage of Oceanic Flight 815 that was planted by Charles Widmore was found off the coast of Indonesia. Thats why they had to pretend to be on an island near Indonesia. |

| 815 crashed in the Pacific Ocean. This is stated in the Lostpedia Timeline. I have no idea why it was supposed to have been found in Indonesian waters. The flight from Sydney to LA flies east, not west. This has bugged me for ages. It was very suspicious that the 'wreck' planted by Widmore was identified almost immediately. Very strange. Surely the producers of Lost know the difference between the Pacific and the Indian Oceans? Any ideas, anyone? |

| I thought the same that it was a cover up so no one would find the real wreckage (or whats left) but then again why would the oceanic people cover it up? Is it because they have been bribed? Or do they really think that is were they really crashed.... |
