just finished writing finale
did Desmond change things by chosing to save Charlie?
Desmond has once again intervened with fate.
He probably did change things and what that means is that there might be new iteration(?) under which Charlie might be expected to die. that would be the logical conclusion. so you're saying that it hasn't gone away, we will be re-exploring that theme. the ultimate question to be asked is, is there any way of postponing the inevitable. is there some way for Charlie to lift the premonition that Desmond is having about his fate? What would happen if Desmond were to die and just stopped having the premonitions? Would that save Charlie?
We see a Eurpoean edition of the Joseph Heller novel, again, like many of the books on our show it has some significance. a catch 22 is basically a no win situation. basically you're damned if you do, you're damned if you don't. so if Desmond tells Charlie that he is going to die he will obviously avoid the arrow, and Desmond believes that Charlie has to die in order to be reunited with Penny, coz this is the sequence in which he sees the events. So either Charlie dies or he doesn't get to see Penny. Both of which end up manifesting themselves as a result of the episode.
New woman - she's got a picture. There were two copies of it, Desmond has one and Penny has one, and obviously this is a photocopy of what must have been Penny's because Desmond's got his.
the wire that leads out into the ocean... where's it going to? you know what? i'm gonna promise you that we are going to find out where that wire leads this season.
D.O.C stands for date of conception - we're gonna find out who is the father of Sun's baby.

was he conceived on one of the islands or was he conceived somewhere else? he claims that he was born on the island but i don't know if i believe him.
in the scene where one of Juliet's first mothers is on the operating table, where was the father of the baby and was Ben the father? aah, well, the father of the baby. that's a good question, he may have been out doing one of those Other's raids. it wasn't Ben. Ben is not like one of those polygamy dudes.
since it would be odd to travel by submarine from Miami to somewhere in the Pacific, would it be reasonable to believe that Juliet travelled by plane to another Mittelos base in the Pacific and that the sub was docked there within a day's submarine journey to the island?
That's not a bad theory.
Cobra in Expose = Jacob in Lost? will it be a shock when we finally find out who Jacob is?
It would be awesome to find out that Jacob is Billy Dee Williams but its not true.

Poor Dessie! He so hoped it was Penny, but alas not...You're right Elaine, those Irish/Scottish accent were a bit suss. I had no idea where they were supposed to be from.But did the monks have something to do with Dharma et al? With the fleeting glance of the photo with the scary jeweller woman? Or time travellers themselves? Oooo! Questions, questions, questions.
Like when will Des undo another button on his shirt, definitely a hint of manly torso under there. Not as good as Sawyers though... ;-) |

Heroes tonight as in TUESDAY night!!?? What the!? NOOOO that means I've missed it.
Yes it's my birthday today, well 32 min ago it was still my birthday. I had to work. 2-10.30pm :-( We went out for dinner on Monday night instead.
I wish I had been given a pre-prepared wedding also, but no such luck. Ah well.
I'm working this afternoon too, then Thurs and Fri off...to run around like a headless chook.
Mum bought me some Rescue Remedy or something like that...this stuff you put on your tongue. It frickin works. I didn't think it would. I feel sooo happy right now. I may have been over-doing it a little, but it does say on the bottle to use when necessary with no dosage limit.
Also the 2 bottles of coke (120ml ones) I drank at work may be having an effect on me. I don't often drink coke and when I do, WOOOOOO.
MICRO I LOVE your mancake!!!!!! IT'S THE BEST CAKE AND PRESENT AND ANYTHING EVER!!!!!!!! MMMMMMMMMM MMMMMMMMM. And totally without buttons, oh my. Is it just me or is it AWFULLY hot and steamy in here right now? |

| I wish they would do one of those filler things for Lost, but just have Sawyer, Sayid, & Desmond walking around with no shirts on, doing manly things like lifting logs and laying around on the beach and just generally working up a sweat. If Damon and JJ ever come back here (I still swear it was really them, I don't care if it wasn't), I'm gonna put in a request. |

OK, good episode. Flowing along nicely with more of Sun and Jin's back story then Wham right at the end the parachute girl tells Hurley that flight 815 plane was found and all dead. Now we,ve said all along that surviving that crash was very unlikely but the producers have said that they are not dead? Huh? Is parachute girl lying. Is she a set up by the others?
Parachute girl can speak, Spanish, Italian and English. I don't think she said "thank you" to Mikhail (translation?) who by the way died at the "fence thingy." The Zombie season is here! Did Mikhail set this up and was on hand to save her. Bit extreme!
DOC meant the baby was conceived on the island but not necessarily having Jin as the father. Juliet's mysteries smirk. Perhaps Sun was fertilized by artificial insemination.
Juliet mentions Austin to Ben on the recorder. Did they practise A.I on Kate or was it when she and Sawyer did the dirty. Do they know she is preg or waiting to see IF she is pregnant.
So women who become pregnant on the island die before the second semester. Is that why Ana lucia and Shannon got killed, before they died in preganancy.
Perhaps Juliet still has something up her sleeve. She tells Ben she hates him. No-one else hears this so this is truth.
Juliet says to Sun that she doesn't want to take a chance and wants to "cover our tracks". Perhaps Sun's pregnancy is more advanced and she wants to hide this from Ben. Will they fake Sun's death to save the baby from the others? |

Had a moment (it was only a moment believe me) of illumination. Has Des's actions in saving Charlie caused not only the parachute girl to be someone other than Penny but the 815 passengers dying by crashing somewhere other than the island and Mikhail living. BUT Des would have to change one of his decisions BEFORE the flight and BEFORE the island to affect the flight. So Charlie's fate on the island can't be linked to the fate of the flight.
This is my idea, at the moment, of the ending of Lost. Desmond figures out what he must do to change the timeline
and travels back and fixes it up. In doing so all the passengers board and disembark the plane safely at their destination, completely unaware of the events of the crash and the island because in that scenario it didn't happen.
If the timelines change throughout the series does this allow the writers to say emphatically for example Christian Shepherd is dead. Which is true at one point in one episode. Yet perhaps in a later episode which is of a different outcome eg they say Christian is alive. Hence neither statement is lie. |

Srsen - So they sneak into Ben's tent and kidnap "him" and Locke wants Sawyer to kill him cos Locke can't. Is it Locke's father, Ben or HIM (Jacob)? I suspect Lockes father cos Lock is still too much of a wimp where his father is concerned.

i love lost becuase a few little words can make your brain implode, unimplode, explode, then go back to how it was before all that stuff.

obviously the other plane crash was a set up so people would stop looking for the plane. i reckon their bodies would have been burnt or what not and unable to be properly identified.
