You know how on this show nothing of much relevence is said unless its a double entendre; I was trying to remember where I heard Geronimo Jackson, I thought they were real or something but didn't Charlie pull an old record out of the hatch and say he'd never heard of them. (someone with dvd help)
Just wondering as the hippie guy seemed to spend a bit of time asking about it? |

| no i'm trying to avoid going slack jawed by training myself out of thinking everythings a clue like i did last season. i kept on jumping out from behind plotlines yelling "AH-HA!!!" trying to catch it in the act of being something it wasn't and only ending up apparently yelling out the name of an eighties band for no apparent reason. so i'm throwing the geronimo jackson in the same bin as the "numbers" and the stephen king books and try not to bother about them until they do something more interesting. the hippie was probably interested coz until he saw the shirt he thought geronimo jackson was a hallucination he had back in 1973. |

the others are werepolarbears!!! when they let hurley go back to the camp to tell everyone else that sawyer, jack & kate had been taken, they bit him first, so now he's a werepolarbear too. |

tettie - the Geronimo Jackson album was in the hatch - i think Charlie or Hurley pulled it off the shelf...
the writers have a running joke that the band is a real band, but then they keep saying that the Hanso Foundation is also real...
i think if anything, it was meant to be like a time marker in the hatch - they look like they are a 70's band, possibly early 80's and that is when Dharma supposedly got to the island...
and just like the cd's in Other-ville - a hint at the fact they may still have contact with the outside world...
but, the band is definitely fake.

i have a new thought...(ouch)
we have all forgotten about Rousseaus french team right? well i think maybe they are potentially the string pullers on some level?? Alex appearing from nowhere and Rousseau convieniently dissapearing for a while. i dont even think i agree with this but just wanted to throw it out there...
and yeah dont know who said it, but expect episode six to gives us some event which will remove all the answers we thought we had... i bet ya! |

i have a confession... it regards Kate and potentially boobies...
there was a scene when she was on 'the chain gang' as sawyer put it, where i kinda thought ONLY FOR A SECOND that she looked kinda not-like-some-kind-of-rab id-dog-who-sh1ts-everyone -to-tears.

PHEW! Finally got to watch it this evening...sorry but I am more confused than ever! So who thinx we are into the future? How Did Desmond know about that speech? What the hell with the PB and Locke?????????
So many more questions...they are really playing with us now.
Gotta have op tomorrow so will have time to catch up with everyone over next week. Yippee ...I mean..... ouch!!! Yippeee to catch up and have time off. Won't do jig....maybe next week hopefully... |

ok, heres a thought bout the desmond theory..
perhaps he is an other...he is using 'remote viewing' (Dharma said they do study it) or 'out of body experiences' (OBE's) to spy on the survivors.. when people go ‘out of body’ only very psychic people can see them. So maybe he got busted by hurley (and Locke?)(locke DID put himself in an altered state of consciousness did he not) and played along, before almost letting Locke’s speech slip. When going ‘out of body’ they say you can visit the future. This would also explain his nakedness perhaps… people are often naked when they go out of body… hmm not highly totally sold on it myself but it does link some of Dharma's research and lets not forget some of the more curious events surrounds Des.... maybe he is a good story teller and everything isnt real.. depsite the flashbacks we had with inman. maybe he IS one of them somehow???? |
