| Yeah my mind is spinning. although we don't see whether young ben is actually dead. he would have to survive wouldn't he otherwise all the present stuff, the purge and the whole thing with the others would never have happened?? All this time travel stuff does my head in as obviously changing the past, changes the future...Even when Ben first sent micheal to bring jack, kate, sawyer and hurley back this obviously had something to do with what is happening in 1977. Do you think it was widmore that hired the bounty hunter to bring sayid on the plane?? It surely could not have been a coincedence? I couldn't help thinking I have seen that bounty hunter lady b4 this episode?? Wow now can't sleep!! |

pretty sure she was hired by Widmore.
If Ben is to survive, would the current Ben remember all this happening now? as these events happen they would become memory to him in 2008? |

OMG!!! Poor Ben! i know he's a bit of a b@st@rd but he is sooooooo the best charicter with his awsome minipulation skills. He's more dangerous then any killer or bounty hunter. good ep for siyid. we leart heaps about his past! god, poor guy. the only thing his good at is killing bugt he h8s doing it. sux 2 b him. |

| I can't help thinking that obviousl ben does survive and these events do become memory and hence why he forced Micheal by kidnapping walt to bring Jack, sawyer, kate and hurley to him. I think from memory he wanted sayid too but micheal couldn't do it. It has been a while. if he wanted jack for the surgery he would have just wanted Jack. I think Ben does have full memory of it and that is why he needed to get them back to the island...it is doing my head in...but I love it! |

| how did widmore know about the plane though if he hired the bounty hunter lady?? I am so confused!! i don't know why sayid coudln't have just gone along witht he hostile story as he would have to avoid both lots of people!! my favourite part was when he was telling the truth because of the truth serum stuff. he is such a good actor. i bet they had a few laughs doing that!! |

i think Ben does recall all of those that he met earlier in the 1970's and thats why a "List" was composed in season one. and those on the list were left on the beach and not taken by the others. I think that those who where collected where not ment to arrive on the island and thats why they were taken and then return off the island by the sub. and thats why we don't see them anymore. those left on the beach were meant to stay on the island

| widmore also knew Mrs Hawkins so he may have known of the plane. Hawkins said there were several pockets of magnet "what evers" around the world, and so Widmore may also have access to one of these. |

| some people are throwing around the fact that sun has done alot of unbecoming things that she didn't make the cut and the island rejected her..but I am not feeling it myself. i am sure there is some sort of connection. obviously ben couldn't go back as he is already there as a child. someone pointed out that she could be already there as a child in some capacity but I have no idea really. i am hoping hey answer that question real soon. that would suck to be separate from your husband by 30 years difference! |
