yes he sed im a good person,
remember back to when goodwin was talking about good and bad people, only good people go on the lists.
maybe the others are only interested in good people. |

| OI! I just figured something out. How did Desmond sleep when he was in the hatch "BY HIMSELF"? He would have to wake up every 108 minutes wouldnt't he. He could sleep but he would be totally stuffed... |

Because he has many demons under his bed and is still trying to confront them. I mean, he tortured people in the war, and has killed people before. He has seen some crazy stuff. It must be hard to have done so much evil and yet have such a huge conscience, because it makes everything so much harder to get over.
Basically, Sayid is very troubled after losing his family and the two women who he loved. And then, he is being forced to confront the skeletons in his closet by the island (as with many of the characters). And even as he is torturing (what he swore never to do again) he can't help but scream out what he is trying to convince himself of.
Although he knows he has done bad, he is desperately trying to believe he is good. Especially in front of the man who symbolizes every single one of the people responsible for the death of his love. Because he sees Henry as pure evil, he is trying to seperate himself from what he believes is evil. How awful would it be to hate something, and then be so similar to it? |
