there's a new promo trailer on channel 7 and I'm excited!
I posted about this new show a couple of weeks ago in the IRV spoiler section and tonight i see ch7 is picking it up!!
Its called Flash Forward, based on a book by Robert Sawyer and in a nutshell the premise is that everyone in the world loses consciousness at the same time for 2 min 17 seconds. 40 million people die (car crashes, drowing ecause they blacked out). those that didn't die saw a glimpse into the future, everyone sees the same date, april 29 2010 10pm which begs the question, what did you see?
Its got Joseph Fiennes, that guy who played Sulu in the new Trek flick and Penny from Lost
here's a bit more to read on the show and some trailers, granted ABC in the USA is already calling it Lost's replacement!!

| i think its on in the US around september so shouldn't be too long after that before it gets here. lets hope ch7 presses the ol' 'fast track' button for this one |

Ugh, FINALLY, I know what that ad is all about!
Also Sonya Walger who plays Penny on LOST will be starring on the show, and it's rumoured Dominic Monahan (Charlie) will be too. |

| wow i thought that was another real life show about.....i dunno but the pictures of random things and a kangaroo did not make me think of a cool drama like the one you described and 2010 is the same year that lost finishes (does the Flash Foward in Flash Forawd reveal the end to lost unlikely but very close similarities dont you think?) |

just watched the trailer today! i thought it was awesome and i cant wait for it to start!! ur right this will be kinda like my sub for lost!!!
it even has PENNY and Charlie lol....

i dont know when but here is a guess for you...............
will probly start during prime time, say wed nights @ 8:30, then when it gets a bit freaky for people an the ratings drop slightly it will go to 9:30..........
THEN, when it gets a bit more freaky an the ratings drop again only slightly it will have a 'hiatus' and upon returning will have a new night, probly fri night and a time of 9:30........
after the cult followers of this show rave about how fantastic it is and how great the season finale was, the second season will return on mon night at 8:30 at 'non ratings' time of the year...........and people will miss the first few eps because of a lack of advertising, seeing this as another ratings drop ch 7 decide to move the show back to wed nights at the time of 10:30..........
i could be wrong, but there you go........ |

Got something new for y'all to watch. Started on Foxtel Arena last night. By the makers of Grey's anatomy, a space/drama/sci fi called Defying gravity. Looks very promising.

| Keeerrrrraaap just read a bit more on that site and it appears they may have already pulled the plug on the show. NOOOOOO it was good! There are 9 epi's out there in download land and hopefully the will bow to public pressure and continue. |
