What is your favourite to least favourite season
mine is defintly(?) S1 - S3 - S2 - S5 - S4 (in order)
You cant make a better season than season 1 Its amazing
and i loved Juliet in season 3 : ) |

S5, S4, S2, S1, S3
(this may change a little as I rewatch the series - I'm currently viewing season 4). |

2, 1, 5, 3, 4.
Season 4 was too centred around one plotline, eliminating the subplots that are usually a strength of the show. Other than that, there's not much between each season. |

Reasons season 3 wasn't my favourite:
1. Lost's mysteries (to me at least) were at their most impenetrable when the survivors found the capsule dump in the season 2 finale. New complications in season 3 seemed less extreme compared with seasons 1 and 2.
2. The answers that were forthcoming in season 3 were not major revelations compared with seasons 4 and 5.
3. The plotline regarding the escape from the Hydra island seemed unnecessarily protracted.
4. It was the season the Others lost their aura.
5. Nikki.
6. Paulo.
7. Too many episodes with no relevance to the central story or character development (eg Expose, Tricia Tanaka is Dead).
Again, these weaknesses are relative; season 3 wasn't a bad season (The Man Behind the Curtain is brilliant), but I just didn't think it was as good as some of the other seasons. |

I agree with the Nikki and Paulo bit and also the pointless episodes
but i thought the Hydra station was a good part of that season and also alot of questions were answered about the others and we learnt that they are not all bad (JULIET = AMAZING) |

I like different aspects of each, S1 was probably the most consistent. S2 kept it fresh with Ben, the tailies and Des but lulled with Michael's storyline. S3 was fantastic for Sawyer and Kate but there's a lot of filler midway through. S4 sucked for everyone except Ben. S5 was okay but again, a lot of filler.
I'm gonna stick with S1. |

5, 4, 1, 3, 2
Season 5 -
I love complicated situations. Which is exactly how I describe season 5 lol. The season covered a lot of ground.
Season 4 -
Although the writers strike stuffed the later episodes up, season 4 moved very fast and actually gave us more answers then questions, compared to previous seasons at least. Ben was awesome through-out! And smokey stole the show in my favourite episode "The shape of things to come".
Season 1-
Legendary. Enough said.
Season 3-
A great season, the ending had some fantastic episodes, but the middle was dragged. Most of it could have been cut into only a few episodes.
Season 2-
Apart from the hatch, I found season 2 took to long to get started. Ana-lucia wasted plenty of time deciding what to do. Ben had the highlights. |

| I agree, nikki and paulo were pointless characters and shouldnt have been on been the show to begin with. season 3, being the middle season, begins to introduce more questions and mysteries of the island, like how pregnant women cannot give birth, who jacob is,and naomi saying that all the oceanic 815 people died. While seasons 1 and 2 were more about surviving and getting to know the other characters. |

| You know Nikki and Paulo are the audience's fault. Everyone asked about the extras back stories, so Darlton decided to make two of them main characters, then we hated them both so they killed them off! |
