i accidentally saw this while watching out the corner of my eye, so i went back and used slow-mo.
at 2 mins 55 seconds after the 'LOST' title does its thing on the screen when keemy and his malitia are holding ben and kate at gun point and right after they hear the whispers there is an easter egg which actually isnt that hard to see. maybe some of you have already seen it too?
it follows the part where one of the others trips up one of the militia (id press slow-mo at that point). the viewer, at this point also hears that infamous screech/scream that was heard when hurley thought he heard that bird screech his name.
right after the screech, the camera does a quick pan from left to right and right then, hidden in the tall grass u can see what appears to be smokey or even the sillouette (sp?) of a female figure.
i urge u all to have a look and discuss what u think it could be :) |

just to clarify...
its the part when keemy is holding ben and kate next to the helicopter. after one of the others trips up one of the militia with a sling/rope and his gun fires into the air as he is falling.
there is a very quick shot of keemy aiming his gun then theres the easter egg, hidden in the tall grass during the quick left-to-right camera pan.
note: press slow-mo as the mercinary is getting tripped up :) |

Yeah, i checked it out. Im not positive about the Hurley bird screech, but it does sound quite similar, if so good find.
As far as the easter egg, its just "the others" moving behind the grass, i really dont think its any sort of hidden clue of easter egg. Were meant to see the glimpses of them moving through the jungle. |

im not so sure its an 'other'...thats what i originally thought but its pitch black like smokey...i think the jury is still out.
u were looking at the right thing werent u? its in the centre of the screen...there are some 'others' behind it though...maybe thats what u saw??? |

maybe, but im not convinced...i watched it at full speed and and it moves like smokey...
i think we'll have to agree to have different opinions haha... |

If you look carefully you will see that im right. The first part of the scene, the other has her head turned away from the camera, and in the last few frames, she turns her head, and you can see the side of her face. It seems She is relaying info to the male other that runs out of the shot. Also the same area of grass is seen before the mercenary is tripped, its just before the scene shows kate and ben, and you can clearly see the womens face
And the blackness doent actually move, its the camera panning across. |

Okay, I checked it before and if you are talking about what I think you're talking about, to me it didn't look like smoke.
I only had a breif look into it though so I could be wrong. |
