Hi Guys,
So I've got a problem with the season finale.
Micheal and Jin use liquid nitrogen to freeze the battery
connected to a bomb on the boat to prevent it from blowing up.
Why not just disconnect it since freezing it will also just prevent
the battery from powering anything?
Well I know why.. coz then they wouldn't get to use liquid nitrogen... |

Because there was a mecanism that would have blown the bomb. Of course this is not actually true, if the battery was frozen, yes they could have disabled it. For all we know it could have worked, they didnt try it because of Desmond's information on bombs (whih was limited).
Also there is no radio transmitter in the world that can work deep underground. So the whole 'dead mans trigger' scenario was also false.
But hey its still just a TV show, its more about entertainment than accuracy. |

I noticed that one too, but didn't mention it.
The transmitter would either have to be transmitting all the time,
or only once when the heart stopped.
Either way, it won't work deep underground. |

what i didn't get is why they didn't just life the table up and push the bomb over the edge of the boat.
it would have exploded after like 30 seconds but the water would have isolated most of the explosion.
i am sooo glad desmond got out alive.
miachal was creepy and jin was annoying. |

Umm because it weighed like 500 pounds, and it was in quite deep within the ship, narrow coridoors, narrow doorways, steps! Oh, its an armed bomb, you really dont try to move them that much, and it wieghed more than 2 people! You would have blown up within a minute.
P.s. Remember what happened to Dr Arzt? |
