Oceanic Six Story Reply to this message
ever since we saw the oceanic six cover story some things have been bugging me. i understand that the story isnt suppose to be bullet proof but some things have been getting to me especaily about Aarons story
1. Kates pregancy now asides the obivous she didnt look six months pregant when arrested wouldnt she have gone through rutine medical exams these would of definately shown she was pregnant.
2. when the O6 where rescued they would of also had medical examinations and aaron would have had a birth certifcate made and all the normal tests and forms done out that they do to a new born baby. then wouldnt they of relised that kate and aaron are not related
3.if according to kates story aaron is 5 weeks then simple things like hte fact that kate isnt producing breast milk would definately expose them i dont understand why they didnt sya that claire survived the crash when they washed up on the island of membata she gave birth died later and then they found the raft ans sailed to sumba that way aaron coul dbe with this family.

i have a feeling that next season or the one after that the O6 lie will be exposed and kate's "pregancy" will be the reason or maybe i am just reading too much into it.

Yeah, it's all rather baffling about why they decided to go with the Kate/Aaron story.

I guess they just wanted as little attention on the "left behind" people as possible...

I think it was fairly obvious the age of Aaron and the pregnancy issues weren't fooling anyone...

They could have also left Aaron with Penny and Desmond on her boat because no one really needed to know about Aaron's existence.
In the end, Kate uses Aaron for leverage in her trial to reduce her sentence and ultimately her acquittal.

Re:Oceanic Six Story Reply to this message
I am sure there are going to be holes in their story, as it is made up by them, well actually by Jack and my thoughts are:
1. Kates pregnancy - the press conference was held as soon as they came off the plane, which I assume happened only days after being rescued. They don't have to have routine medical examinations if they don't want to, maybe Kate said no, that Jack was her Doctor and they are fine? Anyway routine medical exams wouldn't necessarily show that she was or wasn't pregnant, apart from not having a flabby tummy, she could explain being deserted on an island.
2. How would normal tests on Aaron and Kate make anyone realise that they are not related? The only way to prove this is by a DNA test, which I am sure they wouldn't do.
3. Kate not producing breast milk - well this can very easily be caused by stress and a stressful birth (my personal experience - I only had milk for 5 days, then nothing at all after both of my children).

Why didn't they just say Clare died after birth - They don't actually know if Clare is dead? They want to make sure everyone thinks that all the passengers died on impact with the exception of the 8. They don't want any questions coming up about how anyone else died. Not sure why as yet, but we know now that all the 6 have to return to the island together, so this couldn't have happened if they gave Aaron to other family.
