The season finale of lost drew a national audience of just over 600 thousand people. This is about 200 thousand more than the last 2 weeks. Of course this is attributed to by it being the end of season episode and being on at 9.30.
While it is a good improvement, i feel that the content of the episode would have scared away even more of the shows dwindling viewers. With the island being 'Moved', time travel stations and the fact that the characters will now be trying to get back to the island. These things will not attract new viewers, but the borderline viewers will feel that the show is too 'whacky' now. I have spoken to friends who are part time watchers, and they all said that the show is just too out there and wierd.
I love the new direction and i feel that season 5 will hold some great storyline and reveal some huge answers. Lets just hope that people out there think like Locke and not like Jack. |
