Well it was Short, but damn was it ever Sweet. Now with the end in sight the writers are no longer stalling. Great season,even though very different, 4 was just as good as season 1.
There was a great opening episode that set the tone of the season.
There were 2 of the best episodes of the series. 'The Constant' and 'The Shape Of Things To Come'.
And a great 3 hour season finale.
Some gret moments in the season
1. Locke and Jack splitting up the group.
2. Seeing Charie deliver his message "they need you".
3. Jack and Kate seeing the helicopter
4. Meeting Daniel, Miles, Charlotte and Frank.
5. Daniels line "Rescuing you and your people, i cant really say its our primary objective".
6. Ben shooting Charlotte.
7 Ben telling Locke he has a man on the boat.
8. Learning that Ben was the primary objective.
9. Sayid and Ben being off the island and working together.
10. Kate raising Aaron in the future.
11. Desmond jumping through time
12. Desmond and Penny reconnecting over the phone.
13. Finding out that Sun is one of the 6 and Jin is dead.
14. Bens man in the boat is Michael.
15. The island wont let Michael die.
16. Karl and Danielle being killed.
17. The attack on the Barracks.
18. Alex being excecuted in front of Ben.
19. Ben gets off the Island, and winds up in the middle of the desert.
20. Ben unleashing the Monster on Keamy and his men.
21. Ben and Widmores confrontation.
22. Jack and Kate together in the future.
23. Claire sees her father Christian Shephard, and is led away.
24. Richard coming to see Lohn throughout his childhood.
25. Matthew Abbadon talking to Locke.
26. Jacob telling Locke through Christian that he has to 'Move' the island. |

The finale had so many great moments as well.
1. Jack and Kate following on from the season 3 finale.
2. Jack and Locke talking about leaving the island.
3. Kate leading the mercenaries into the others trap.
4. Sayid and Keamy having a showdown.
5. Richard shooting Keamy in the back.
6. Walt visiting Hurley.
7. Miles hinting to Charlotte about her past
8. Ben and Locke inside the Orchid.
9. Ben killing Keamy, while yelling "you killed my daughter", and the sinister line "So".
10. Sawyer jumping of the chopper.
11. The chopper just getting of the boat in time.
12. Michael being told that the island is done with him, then Boom.
13. Sun witnessing Jin die in the explosion
14. Sun confronting Widmore.
15. Ben changing in to his Tunisia clothing.
16. Ben saying goodbye to Locke
17. Ben turning the wheel and 'moving' the island.
18. Kate being told on the phone by whispers that she has to come back, but hearing something different from Claire.
19. The Oceanic 6 and co. getting rescued.
20. Desmond and Penny being reunited after 3 years.
21. Ben telling Jack that they all have to go back to the island.
22. The reveal that John Locke was the man in the coffin, and that he too must go back.

i agree, it was a great season if not a bit short. the finale was the best. there was no real cliffhanger which i liked. seeing locke threw me because i was convinced it would be michael. i also enjoyed seeing the ship blow up with people on it...i know that sounds sick but usually shows shy away from this so i was glad they didnt and having michael die like that was much better than him killing himself. i'm worried about jin though ! every scene with the chopper was great, and i dont think it bothered sawyer all that much to jump out because he didnt want to leave anyway. i loved the bits of humour throughout the finale. the expressions on bens face when talking to locke are just wonderful, " is this the magic box ?" then bens look of exsaparation was so funny.
seeing walt was great. when we see him in the finale he would be around 13 and i dont think his size is all that unrealistic. we are just used to seeing 2 seasons of little walt. i'm glad frank survived. so much to think about and i'm looking forward to the dvd's because i know there is a lot of small things i have missed " it's all in the details " |
