| Can anyone tell me why there was alternative endings to the final, and who was in the coffin in those alternative endings? thanks guys!! |

| OK, the endings were there so that if some a$$ hole got hold of the footage, they wouldn't know which ending was the real one,(like in the simpsons when they made an ending to "who shot Mr Burns" with Smithers being the one who did it). And in the two that I saw, it was Sawyer and Desmond in the coffin |

| I reckon it was to show who else died- why else would they say not to raise the dead because Locke is bad! I reckon maybe ben caught up with Penny and Maybe he tried to save Penny and was killed , or Mr Widmore i guess. I have no clue about Sawyer though - maybe he tried to be a hero again. Soo any questions , soo many ideas LOL. |

The 2 alt ends (even though I didn't see them) were to fight off spoilers and disorient viewers so it wasn't COMPLETELY ruined :) |

| Hmmm, if you go to the Lostpedia site you can read all the transcripts of all the episodes; not as good as seeing the episode but I believe they can be accessed some other way too. |
