| maybe the island only moved in time, like the bunny when it moved forward in time it disappeared temporarily. We all know Richard and the others could go to and from the island and Ben did say they would be willing to share all knowledge with Locke, perhaps Whitmore got to him |

What is with people? I love Locke as a character to, not as much as Ben but i still love him. I believe he is dead, but dont forget the flashforward was 3 years in the future, so thats still lots of story about john being the others leader and finding out about the island.
I have full faith in the writers |
