Locke In Aussie History! Reply to this message
When i was in history, we were learning about aborigionals (i was only half listening), when i heard John Lock's name mentioned. Apparently Mr. Locke was a man in history who believed that if land wasnt being used (IE farming or houses), then it wasnt owned. His ideas prompted the takeover of alot of australia from the aborigionals.

Is this a coincidence, or is it more. Give me your ideas

i was lookin up an assignment from school and look what i found on wikipedia "Once William and Mary had gained control of the throne, they completely supported the constitutional monarchy. Together they signed the Bill of Rights, which severely limited the power of the king, and gave more freedom to their subjects. One supporter of constitutional monarchy was John Locke." Very strange.

john locke was the name of a philosopher, just like (jean-jaques) rousseau, and david hume. their philosophies are a huge part of the lost mythology and a great read as well.

So isn't it interesting that in last night's episode when Richard Alpert asked the young John Locke to pick out the items which were already his, one of the available choices was the Book of Laws ...

hehe i posted this exact same thing about 2 years ago :P
didn't get much of a response then either, but i guess it's more relevant now.

Also, a man named Rousseau was involved with Locke, but it seems more of a reference rather than a clue since Danielle is dead...or is she...?
