I think it's weird how Locke just came alive. He was shot in the lungs for gods sake, how can he be alive? Is this bad directing or is it LOST trying to tangle up our minds once again?

I thought that Locke was almost dead (end ep) and then Walt came to him while he was still dying (different ep) and did the whole mind over matter thing so the islands healing powers could do thier thang.
It seems that ones state of mind or spiritual connection with the island or whatever seems to be directly related to how the islands healing powers work. An example of this was Ben taking so long to heal after his operation, as alluded to in a conversation with him and Locke.
On this vein, Naomi must have healed so quickly coz she knew how special the island was coz the people who sent her (i.e. those who are not Penny) knew about it. |
