| I found in a magazing what Jacks tattoos really are, not sure if this has already been posted. A trisecting pyramid, a sundial, and the number 5, the letters BC and four J A P A N E S E characters, (it wouldn't let me enter J A P A N E S E as a full word it thought it was swearing). The magazine was one of those TV week mags. |

cause if u see him like along time ago in the show in his flashbacks he doesnt have them so yeah they are fake |

| i took a look at jacks tatoo and found 5 as well and bc before chisrt so i went on the net and typed in 5 b.c and found a battle with two king mabye the they will use the tatoo in the show |

| Yeh the tatoos are REAL, it was just in that flashback at his wedding he didnt have them because the storyline didnt need him to have it yet....also its a coincidence his got the number 5 on him and in the show he tells Kate that his best way to calm down or come back to the real world is to count slowly to 5 |

| Turning J A P A N E S E is not a derrogitory term towards the country or its people. It was a song by the Vapors. When the song came out people began to try to interpret the strange song and said that that particular term was meant to mean excessive masturbation, due to the shrinking of the body into the hunchback position and the squinting of the eyes. That is why you can not type that word. due to the reference, not the country or the people. |

1st of all i would like to say that jack's tatto is real and the four characters are part of a couplet taken from a famous poem written in 1925 by the Chinese revolutionary leader Chairman Mao Tse-tung (MAO Zedong).
The first character means "Eagle". The second character means "Strike" as a verb. The third one means "Long" and the final one means "Void".So this is very real!!!! |
