WATCH IT!
It's a new video with Marvin Candle AKA Mark Wickmun who in this one is named Dr Edgar halowax station 6 of the DHARMA initiative "the orchid".
It's legitimate cause it's got the real actor in it.
Like all the orientation films it convieniently cuts out at the vital parts, but from what i gathered they are doing some kind of cloning or time/space travel experimenting.
He mentions the "Casmir Effect" that i looked up but can't make any sense of what it means. If someone smart could explain it to me in 1diot terms that would be great :) |

In physics, the Casimir effect or Casimir-Polder force is a physical force exerted between separate objects due to resonance of all-pervasive energy fields in the intervening space between the objects. This is sometimes described in terms of virtual particles interacting with the objects, due to the mathematical form of one possible way of calculating the strength of the effect. Because the strength of the force falls off rapidly with distance, it is only measurable when the distance between the objects is extremely small. On a submicrometre scale, this force becomes so strong that it becomes the dominant force between uncharged conductors. Indeed at separations of 10 nm — about a hundred times the typical size of an atom — the Casimir effect produces the equivalent of 1 atmosphere of pressure (101.3 kPa).

does this season finale mean that the orchid video that nearly everyone has seen was faked somehow, or is it going to be shown later in season 5, or is it another alternate video to stop spoilers?
