| Hi guys, I'm a newbie here. Just saw on 7 the clipshow before Season 5 starts, in which I saw Jack lying to the press about them being stuck in the ocean for days. Now The Losties were on The Island for 108 days, is it even plausible to lie that they survived in the ocean for that long? |

They never said that, they said they lived on a deserted island. Here's the transcript from the press conference they did :
"From there, the survivors were carried by the ocean's current to here--an uninhabited island in the Lesser Sunda Islands known as Membata. As you've all read in your briefing books, on day 103... a typhoon washed up the remnants of an Indonesian fishing boat, including basic supplies and a survival raft. On day 108, the remaining six survivors, including Ms. Austen's baby, used this raft to journey to an island called Sumba. They then came ashore near a village called Manukangga." |

| very nice.. 108 days, wonder if thats connected to the fact that the island skips and flashes every 108 mins? |
