| I have been confused about something for a long time and no one has really answered it. In season 2 episode 1 we see Desmond waking up in the morning,fixing breakfast,exersizing,gett ing dressed etc.,going about his daily routine. How is this possible if he had to push the button every 108 min.? He wouldn't be able to sleep. Later in the episode Locke says "this is a two man job at least" Desmond said he's been down there for three years. any thoughts? |

| A reply to: davhasphotos, i think he really can time travel like many suggest, as after the hatch exploded he was found by hurley naked (as in the terminator movies clothes dont travel in time). |

| it is possible and it just means that he had interupted sleep for 3 years. i suppose the body would adjust eventually and he probably got to the point where he woke automatically every 108 mins, staggered to the computer, typed in the numbers and back to bed, much like a sleep walker. |
