| He stayed on the Now Rigged to blow Freighter, swore to never go back to the Island, is not one of the Oceanic Six, what happened to him?!! The Island is rigged to blow too by the Freighter Guys! I never thought of Desmond when we discussed the fate of those who never became one of the Oceanic 6. |

You never know, if the ship somehow makes it back to land on the outside world, he might make it back too, but just not let anyone know he was on the island. He wasn't on the plane so nobody from the outside world will make the connection.
Something tells me he's not going to die now that we know Ben has vowed to kill Penny. Also, Desmond is the only Lostie who has never met Ben.
I'm right guessing at the end of the series, they'll finally meet when he saves Penny from Ben. He may even be the one to kill Ben. Desmond has to save her! |

| I hope its like when the hatch blew and he was sent back, but he stayed there with Penny and there wasn't a woman telling him he has to go to the island, so he and penny get married and live a gorgous life :D |

| no, she's not his mother.. if desmond ever emerges from the hatch during this recent flash, do you think that if he does join up with Locke,Sawyer, Juliet, Faraday, Miles and Charolette that his ability to travel along his own timeline will 1. allow him to go with him as they flash and 2. prevent him from suffering the nosebleeds during what's known as the lack of constant due to this ability |

Uh...have you even been watching this season?
He featured heavily in the first three eps of the season as well as the last ep to air on channel 7 (This Place is Death).
He will be featured at the end of the season, too. |

| Yeah I doubt the 'Island' is done with him. He must have another purpose. I mean apparently he's special, and remember Ben's got it in for his wife, Penny, since Widmore had Ben's 'daughter' Alex killed. |
