ok, so we all know now that Elloise Hawkings and Charles Widmore are Daniel Faraday's mother and father. so i'm just wondering... how caould he have gotten the last name "Faraday"???
any ideas? |

| maybe he realised he was goin to be in the show lost so he changed his name to help readers relate him to a real life character called faraday making lost more intersting.... but if he new he was in a tv show... y did faraday go back to the island? |

| yeah i know it is really annoying me now, trying to think about why his last name is different... i know that he is based on Micheal Faraday (a real person) but they could at least explain how Daniel came to have that last name, when his parents both have differing last names!! |

I might be wrong but has Eloise's last name been mentioned on the island I'm pretty sure in the 50's and 70's on isladn she has just been called Ellie.
Perhaps her surname is Faraday so Daniel got that name when he was born, then after leaving the island she got married to a Hawkins and changed her name but Daniel kept his name of Faraday. |

| and Miles' mum must have re-married a Straume (sp?) so he's no longer a Chang when he appeared on the show. what wonderful ways we're being confused all the time! lol |

| did you ever think that this is another continuous loop just like the Compass?? his book is left on the island, who knows what it says in it, maybe it states that the owner of the book was Daniel Faraday??? if so Ellie would have read it and called her new born by this name, and because of everything that happens the book ends up with daniel and the book ends up with ellie and so on |

| Yes, levi, that's already been established. Eloise followed everything the book said to do and made sure her son eventually "returned" to the island in order to be killed by her...and so on.... |
