I reckon that claire is sawyers daughter
1. the baby has really blue and blonde hair, so does claire
2.the babys name is Clementine which sounds a bit like claire and 'claire' could be short for it
3. Claire has virtually no tie ins with any other surviors so its only a matter of time before she gets one
this is a theory not fact

| how could it be. sawyer said he was 35 when ben asked him in episode 4. I would assume that claire is like 25 or something so that would mean that sawyer would have been about 10 when claire was born........you id.iot |

but jack and claire are brother and sister..cause that man was jacks father on last nights ep. |

Claire and Jack are obviously brother & sister. Only, how are they ever going to find out seeing as their father is now dead?

| claire is sawyers daughter. her mother is cassidy who was a woman sawyer was sleeping with many years earlier when he worked as a conman. He had tricked cassidy into getting her husband at the time to sign over his fortune by conning her into thinking they would build a life together. |

| Claire discovers her mother has a familiar visitor, Dr. Christian Shephard. However, Claire does not know him, and is about to ask who he is when her aunt Lindsey walks in. Lindsey and Christian immediately start arguing. Lindsey does not want him there and tells him to leave. Christian says Claire deserves to know the truth, but Lindsey will not hear of it. Claire shouts for them to stop arguing. She realizes he is the one paying the hospital bills, and asks who he is. Reluctantly, Christian admits that he is her father, meaning Jack and Claire are half siblings. |
