Hello guys, has anyone else read VALIS by Phillip K Dick.
Locke handed it to Ben (from Bens own book case), to kill some time, while being kept prisoner in new othertown.
Valis-vast active living intelegence system, is a mind bending theological novel that adresses reality,madness,sin and salvation.
It follows Horselover Fat a name that autobiographically translates to Phillip K Dick,who is similtanously expeiencing a drug infused menatl breakdown, and a divine revelation. He begins writing a journay which is largly an exposition of the authours "crack pot" theology.
This is a dangerous novel, thourghts anyone? |
