How can alex be bens daughter when we o danelle is her mother, I cant imagen how in the world those to could of got together and had a baby.
I think Alex is addopted by ben because wasnt danelle pregnate when she came to the island thats why she survived
but then y would ben addopt Alex? |

Alex isn't Ben's actual daughter...i think that when the others took Alex off Danielle Ben wanted to adopt her or something. i don't have a clue why but that's what i think.
also now Alex has found out that Ben isn't her real dad their relaisionship isn't going too well. |

| yeah...Alex is Danielle's Daughter and Ben took Alex from Danielle after a week of giving birth to her. I think Ben took her because obviously shes a girl, since she a teenager i think Ben wants to do test on her of she able to give birth without her dying, but at the moment he protecting Alex from Karl that may explain why Ben dislike Karl (Alex's Boyfriend) so until Ben eventually finds to the cure. Hence Ben is so obsess to kidnap all the pregnant women. |

| and also Karl didn't seem to know what the Brady Bunch is when Sawyer mentioned it.....which suggests he was either born on the island(his mother died while giving birth to him) or he was taken there at a very young age |

| but you can give birth on the island you die about half way throgh the precnency so they must have bourught karl to the iland at very young age |

I think Karl is Ben's son with Annie. We will learn that the friendship that we saw begin between them will blossom into much more, and that Annie will die giving birth to Karl, thus leading to Ben crusade to find an answer to the pregnancy dilemas on the Island.
I also think that Ben projects the same blame on Annie's death as his father Roger did upon him for the death of his mother, Emily, and as a sort of theme of the show, each Lostie...or recruited Other in the case of Ben...brings his or her own curse (or blessings) to the Island. As long as Ben is on the Island, history is doomed to repeat itself. |

| alex is danielles's daughter. as we know, women who conceive on the island end up dying a few months into their pregnancy. claire was able to give birth to aaron because he was conceived in australia. danielle arrived on the island as part of a scientific research team with her husband robert { watch the episode Solitary..season 1} danielle was pregnant when her ship crashed onto rocks during a storm, which means she conceived somewhere other than the island. she gave birth to alex and one week later ben kidnapped alex and has raised her as his own. we know that ben has tried to take aaron and he also successfully took emma and zach from the tail section. why he takes children has not been answered as yet. as for karl, all we know about him is that he was raised on the island, we do not know if he was born their or who his parents are. |

watch any movie or show about a character who is adopted.....
or did you ever see Heroes?....its like Claire...even after she found out who her biological Father was she still referred to Noah Bennet as "Dad" because he was the one who raised her for 16 years.....and the same goes for Alex..... |

from the way Ben reacted when Alex was killed, it seemed like he was just saying that he stole her as a baby from Rousseau so that Keamy wouldnt kill her. (although i believe that he did take her)
plus maybe 'the rules' that Widmore apparently changed is that they do not kill each other's family? is that why Ben vowed to kill Penny in the flashforward? |
