i think someone has said something like this before (maybe jess815) but i think ben will eventually turn out to be the good guy.
i mean, they wouldn't have given him a back story and all that. they have focused little on widmore apart from the rivalry with ben.
they wouldn't have gotten us so invested in ben with his back story to just make him out to be a bad guy. in the end, i think ben will turn good.
my hunch is that the smokey incident will be the catalyst for ben to turn good seeing as he feels responsible and is repentant for alex's death. |

well ben may be an ass, but i guess he is good.....

He was sent to kill danielle but couldnt becuase of baby alex, so he lets her live and takes alex so she could have a better like with the others.
When he tries to kill penny ( only to get revenge for Whidmore killin Alex) he cant do it cuz lil Charlie is there

| I think Ben is a bad guy, but has good in him...and I have always had a little bit of spot spot for him...so I do hope ends up as one of the good guys. :) |

Ben killed loche AND his own daughter.
He's not good or bad. You've got to remember there's always shades of grey.
But i believe he's one of those "greater good" characters. you know, like they do things because they believe its the right thing to do in the end. even though its unpleasant to do everything they need to. |

Ben didn't kill his own daughter. He just horribly misjudged the situation. Plus, he knew if he surrendered, Keamy would kill everyone else there. |
