I had implant last year at Phuket at Bangkok Phuket Hospital I went through an australian compny destiny medi-travel, who sorted all my flights and hotel as well as booked the surgery. My implants are saline and i am very happy with the result and the cost of the implants was $3500 compared to what it would have cost here in ausralia I was quoted $10,000 and never even got the 8 day holiday in the 5 star resorts. Total cost for my husband and I including flight, hotel and surgery was $5500 for 8 days.
A friend of mine had lipo at bumengrad and said the hospital was really nice but they never took enough out and now she has to go back at her cost. the phuket hospital I went through have an agreement with Meditravel that if anything shuld happen when I returned they would pay the total cost of my return. Thus why I chose Phuket and not bumengrad. Have a look at the bumengrad death site that will put you off going there. Since I have been a friend of mine who had implants went over and had her old ones removed and bigger gel one put in and she went throught he same company i did and it cost her$5400 to have old removed and new one put in. |

Hi, not sure my advice will help you, but i'll try my best. Do you currently have implants now?
I recently had breast implants inserted on October 23. I had them done through Dr Paul Downie at Surfers Paradise in Queensland, he came highly recommend and is noted as being one of the best. I had the silicone implants inserted through my armpitt believe it or not, best decision i ever made. 2 days after my operation i was able to blow dry my hair, so the scars werent painful at all. To be honest, I wouldn't recommend going through a doctor overseas, you hear so many horror stories about bad jobs, its just not worth it. I would suggest going through a recommended surgeon. If your silicone does ever leak, its cohesive so will not run through your organs or do you any damage. It will just stick together and the surgeon would have to remove the implnat and insert new ones. Its really that plain and simple. |
