Research into learner driver supervision Reply to this message
My name is Lyndel and I am currently completing my PhD through the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Brisbane. I am conducting research into how people learn to drive and how to make learner and provisional drivers safer, focussing on Queensland and New South Wales.

Parents and other private supervisors of learner drivers play a key teaching and support role in helping teach individuals to learn to drive. For this reason, I am asking parents and other private supervisors of learner drivers to complete an online survey. In order to participate, the learner driver needs to have recorded the required number of hours in their log book (100 hours in Queensland or 120 hours in New South Wales). The survey is therefore most suited to the parents or other private supervisors of learners who have just obtained, or are about to obtain, their learner licence. I am offering each participant a $20 ColesMyer voucher as a thank you for participation. Participation in this study is entirely voluntary.

If you are interested in completing this internet survey please go to: https://survey.qut.edu.au /survey/168068/d77e/

Thank you

Lyndel
