| harking back to feb! Thanks for posts. I've been advised that speaking with the bully's parents is a no no. Anyway, all is well and I wish everyone else the same success. |

| Hi, i noticed that you posted this message a little while ago but thought i'd write anyway. I'm a fifteen year old female, and I too was bullied for a long time at a very inconvenient time in my life. I had to make some drastic changes in my life, I moved schools twice and no longer give my trust easily to 'friends', but I don't get bullied at all anymore. Your granddaughters situation sounds exactly like mine was. I hope she has found some good people in her life and is no longer being picked on because she sounds like a nice person who does not deserve it :). |

| thanks hp, but my granddaughter knows how to handle this now - she told them that she'll be civil to them, but not get involved in their little games. They've stopped and don't know quite how to take her now! Smart girl. |

Does anyone have a suitable and effective way to deal with bullying? My 15yo Granddaughter (who lives with me due to abuse at home) is being harrassed/bullied at school by two girls. She's been told she's ugly, everyone hates her, she's dumb, she's anorexic and other very personal insults. In fact, she's attractive, sporty, intelligent
and has a nice boyfriend. She's tried ignoring it and challenging it, but now refuses to go to school and won't let me approach the school as she says it will make it worse for her. I don't see why she should have to move schools to stop this. Her closest friend is also friends with these two losers, which complicates the matter as the friend is not strong enough to break away from them. Any suggestions wld be most welcome as I feel helpless. Thanks! |
