The way kids get to school around here is either walk, bike, parents, train or bus. The busses are either public transport or privately owned. Kids get a school buspass that allows them to travel for free to school and home again. Kangaroo meat is the lowest of cholestrol of any meat, and like anyother meat has its own unique taste. Australia is a great place to live- just ask anyone who has moved here. We have a lot of americans living and visiting here. They love the freedom they say.

The tax year ends on 30 june and taxes are expected to be handed in by october. There are no $1 or $2 notes as they have been replaced with coins. The smallest denomination of coin is the 5cent piece. Two-up is played with two old pennys, usually pennies featuring King George. They are flicked up and bets are made on them falling with two heads or two tails. If their is one of each it is called "wundum" and the coins are tossed again.

Hi. My name is Mandy and I live in the USA. I'm taking a specials class and my project has been on Australia. It's been lots of fun learning about Australia but some stuff I couldn't find and I was hoping maybe somebody here would give me some information. My first question is about income taxes and I know you have taxes in Australia but I can't find if you have a get them in by date like we do here. All income taxes have to be filed by April 15. Do you have a due by date like that? Do you have school buses like we do here or do students have to be driven by their parents or take public transportation. Is it true you don't have any pennies and if that's true how do you play two up? Who's picture is on your dollar bills? What does kangaroo taste most like? Thanks to anyone willing to help me with these questions. Also do you like living in Australia?
