The worst part about these kid farms is how they give you all the colour pages when you sign up about what they provide, what they stand for, the message blah blah blah.

In reality most of them are run by teenagers hiding behind some corporate body you never get to see while they rake in massive profits, i saw the 'message' today written on the front door.

'Due to the financial crisis we have had to up the prices'....again, how convenient. Ok thats fair enough but what about when the crisis is over, will the prices reduce back to what they were, not a chance.

Its a sad fact that most parents these days have no choice but to put children in day care so they can afford to live in what is a rip off of a society in every way.

Its hard to categorise all day care centres with this mediocrity i have just burbled, but what riles me the most is when you sign up they have all these nutritional guideline sheets and represent they almost have a 5 star menu for your most precious centre of the universe child. Ahh but i work irregular hours and come in morning lunch and afternoon and the reality is they all cut cost and feed your children slop, like soggy weetbix, cheap rice mixtures and the fruit us parents 'have to' provide.

Ok so its a bit of a rant and generalisation and my last point is if you have to pay 60 bucks a day on average not including whatever rebates you may or may not recieve, why in gods name should we the parents feel and make obligated as part of our moral and responsible duty have to provide, fruit, suncream, tissues, paper etc etc....goddam for 60 bucks a day this s h i t should be included in the package.

Child care centres will rort you for every last dollar, dont be fooled just because they look after your kid.
