labor is extremely painful...like a period c r a m p ,but alot more acute of course,that won't go away,till u see ur bub!!
and then after a little while along come the after pains...they feel like stabbing pains in the centre of your stomach....the more babies you have had the longer that pain hangs around!
thats ok just ask for pain releif when u need it....the joy of holding the tiny bub in your arms also helps with the pain as you know in your heart he/she was worth it 100 times over!!! lol
all the best! |

It depend everyone body is different and some feel it worse then others and their may be last minutes thing that you are not aware of as I have have 7 children no c sections my smallest has been 8lb4 and the biggest being 9lb5 Ive been quite lucky as my last one was faced up and not down which could make labour a bit difficult my first was the longest 23hrs (but some women have been know to have very quick labours)but my 2nd and so on have been less then 4 hrs you may want to choose to have pain relief as well my hubby and I are expecting no 8 in june 2009 .
No matter how bad the pain may be as when the baby is out the pain will go away . It also gets alot easier after the first 2.
good luck
