| Can anyone help?! I have a 8 year old maltese & a 8 month old baby. My maltese has started going to the toilet inside the house mainly during the night, but he has access to the backyard. I thought it might have been a jealousy thing, so I make sure I give him plenty of attention, he goes for walks, he has a lot more attention now than he used to have when I was away from the house for 12 hours a day. Things have changed a lot for him, we used to live alone, now we live with 2 cats, my partner & our baby. He seems to love the baby, but sometimes wees on her play mat. When he poos inside its usually in the dining room, where there is no baby stuff. I don't know why he's started it, or how I can get him out of the habit. He's been sent outside for the day, and sneeks inside during the night. Even then sometimes he still does it in the house. He knows he's in trouble as soon as I wake up, he sends himself outside! My baby is going to be crawling soon, so I need to put an end to this now! I don't want her crawling through his muck!!! Can anyone please help? I'm desperate! |
