I have had a lab and a cattle dog, both boys who never lifted their legs even when they got older. They were both desexed and the vet told me that sometimes male dogs just squat and do not lift their legs at all!

I only just came across your message, All puppies are different, some lift their leg as early as 12 weeks some not until 12 months.I had a litter of Whippets and one of the little puppies lifted his leg (only once at 3 weeks)...lol so cute.

I have a 10 week old Cavoodle x Lhahoodle and at the moment when i take him out for "wee-wee's" he is squatting (don't expect him to lift his leg JUST yet hehe) but I have never had a male puppy before so I am not too sure if there is a general age when they begin to lift their leg or not??
