Does she seem to be "going" all over the house, in lots of different and rather obvious places?
If so, she likely has a grievance she is trying to tell you about.
If she seems to be going repeatedly in the same spots, and they aren't exactly out in the open, it could be that she requires more privacy than the current litter box provides, or she is displeased with the box location.
Also, she could be a lot pickier than the other cat as to how clean the boxes are. I have 2 cats, but just one box, so I have to change mine every single day. I have one cat (6, had since birth) who is not so picky; I have a new cat, (less than 1) who has urinated in our lounge room chair when the box was too dirty for her (I'd let it go a couple of days....MY fault; have been dilignet ever since!)
It's hard to say with cats, but if it's just starting out of the blue, then it's usually them trying to tell you something. |
