We have a dog (labrador) and a rabbit,(he's a house trained one,and spends nice days running around in the backyard, been doing it for about a year now and not once has he tried to dig a hole and escape) and they are pretty much best of friends.
They even sunbake together in the backyard, and when we feed dinner to the dog,the rabbit comes up for for food and they eat together.
Our dog is extremely protective of him, we noticed once that a crow was sitting on the side of our pool looking at the rabbit and just as we were about to go out,the dog ran over, barked and away flew the crow. |

| Rabbits are relatively easy to care for, don't get one if you have a dog though. I've lost two rabbits to incidents involving dogs. |

| Rabbits make great food for reticulated pythons and boas. Have you thought about donating the rabbit to a good home? |
