Hey all,
I'm a consultant for a company called Arbonne - they sell a range of body and skin care products including mineral makeup (powder and liquid). I find that it gives very good coverage, I am also a part-time makeup artist so comparing their prices, sizing, coverage etc to other mineral/everyday makeup brands - they are very competative in everyway. However, as a consultant I can pass on more discounts to clients. |

| I really like Afterglow cosmetics. Me and my mom both use it. It definitely does not sink into my mother's wrinkles or accentuate them. Which why she uses it. My skin dries out so much in the winter, so I was afraid I would have to switch to a liquid until the season changed. Fortunately, I found that as long as I moisturize like usual the foundation acted the same on my skin, in every season. The coverage is excellent without looking parched or rough. Afterglow Cosmetics is cost efficient as well, the makeup lasts such a long time and you only need a little bit. |

| If you decide to, you will just have to risk it. Pay by Paypal so if it does not arrive, at least you will get your money back. I think it is more a case of she just got snowed under or lacked a system at the time to send orders out in a timely manner rather than outright dishonesty. |

| Yes I did. But after reading the negative posts about non-delivery I am cautious. However, yes I am going to order again when I run out as it is the best mineral makeup I have tried. I am in my mid 40's with dry sensitive skin. Foundation and primer is quick, blends well and makes my skin look flawless. But you need to apply it properly. She will send you sample pots for a small fee to help with your choice of colour. |

| Such a shame. When I ordered early this year. My samples arrived okay. But when I placed an order for the full products (120.00) after two weeks they had not arrived. She claimed she had sent them. And said she would resend the order again. I thought at the time this was either great customer service, or she had stuffed up and not sent the order. After reading this and other boards I am dubious about re-ordering. A business of this size relies on word of mouth and feedback, and returning customers. It is a shame she did not understand people want what they paid for sent quickly and are not really interested in her personal problems. She had a potentially great business which is now dead in the water due to bad management. |

| I love Afterglow Cosmetics... It's available in the US, Canada and France but not in Australia yet. It is infused with certified organic ingredients that help the skin from feeling dry. Unlike many mineral makeup lines - Afterglow's formula is great for women 30years + and doens't accentuate pores or wrinkles. I only wish their were a distributor in Australia! |

I have tried numerous mineral makeups incl Jane Iredale. My search ended when I started using MakeSense from SeneGence. As well as giving excellent coverage it is combined with SenePlex complex which also cares for your skin. It has been independently tested to SPF30 when combined with our daytime moisturiser.
I love SeneGence products so much that I have now become a distributor. If you would like further information please viit my website: www.SeneSationalCosmetics .com |

If you make sure you use a good moisturiser on your face before apply mineral foundation it wont make your skin dryer. Mineral foundation wont accentuate your wrinkles if applied properly. In fact if you apply a Light Defusing Translucent Mineral Veil over the top of your foundation it will actually deflect the light away from any flaws and/or wrinkles.

| I'd be REALLY CAREFUL ordering from Barekiss... research on google and you'll find people haven't been getting their orders for the past few months. Definitely don't send money you're not prepared to lose. |

| I have just started using mineral makeup due to oily skin - Jane Iredale. Unsure if it 'stays on' yet - jury is out, though it does have a more natural look to it than heavy caked on makeup. |

Hi Metalex,
Thanks for putting me onto that site.
My samples arrived today and I couldn't wait to try them. I received 3 different foundations and a blush.
So there I was, took off my already made up face and spent ages trying to find a brush to put it on with but eventually I did.
I love it! Will definitely purchase more.
I haven't found a foundation in the past that hides my pores so this is brilliant. And it looks so natural!
By the way the letter I received with it said that if I put someone else onto it and they buy that they will send me free gifts so if you let me know your details I will let them know it was you when I purchase and they will send you freebies.
Thanks again.

Hi Metalex
I have gone to that site and ordered my free sample.
I'll let you all know what I think as I have large pores and have found it hard to find a good foundation. |

| I have found that tinted moisturiser does not cover my Rocasea like the Bare Kiss mineral makeup I am using does, it looks natural but has amazing coverage. Hope that helps. |

If I was you guys id probably just use tinted moisturiser.. it doesnt so much as cover but it does make your skin far more radiant..
as for the pigment problem.. maybe try giving a glycopeel a shot.. my friend said it worked for her. |
