You certainly didn't put me off. If anything you and Beck have totally motivated me! You are both so inspiring!
I think I need some lessons from you on how to become assertive. My husband does not have to work tomorrow so surely I will be able to go to gym tomorrow morning. Then I will just have to get my mojo happening and get used to going to gym after work. My goal (for the moment) is to get at least another 5 kilos off. Once again thank you for your support. Fingers crossed for the phone call!

Sharon,
I have now reported you as a spammer on this board.
I have no interest in a wellness seminar in Perth as I am in Melbourne. You have proven that you are only out to promote this event.

Thanks guys,
I knew the PBing was happening a bit too often, but like everyone else, it's just a matter of remembering the rules. I had a bit of stress over the post 4 weeks so I'm sure that contributed too. So far today, no Pbs and I've had 2 sushi rolls and some gnocchi... Slowly slowly was my mantra.
Here's hoping for the same sort of weight loss without the pbs!

Pyretta, well done on the fantastic loss! Its been a while since you were in the 150's if i remember rightly, you must be thrilled to bits :)
I hope you can get your PBing under controll. You wouldn't think it would be so hard to pay attention when your eating would you. Or should i say pay attention to what and how your eating instead of every other jolly thing, hehe! |

Pyretta, well done!! that's an awesome loss. I know what you mean about the pb'ing, just try and take it one day at a time and try for a whole day without pb'ingm, then the next etc. Try and serve your food measured so there is no room for error and perhaps temporarily change to softer, easier foods.
Your going great guns, your going to be on those scales sooner than you think. :)

Pyretta,
Well done on your loss. As you say though, now is the time to concerntrate on some good eating habits.
I love potatoes. I love them to bits. I am trying to lose a couple of kilos before my tummy tuck on the 18th of June. I am at goal weight an dfhave been for a few years but jsut watned to lose a couple of kilos as I think that my husband will fatten me up with cake and cups of tea when I am recoperating after the op lol!!
I love my microwaved spud with Weight Watchers sour cream, tiny bit of lettuce, loads of cucumber, capsicum and a tiny bit of lite shredded ham, and a splodge of grated lite cheese! Yummo.
Spuds fill me up and I find that I am not needing a biscuit etc at 8pm when watching tv.
It's a ll about focus isn't it! If you focus on good foods and slow eating etc you will get over this hurdle as you have had many hurdles.

Okay Time for a confession and update.
At my last visit to the clinic I got a bit of a top up, that was four weeks ago and I must admit I have struggled quite a lot these past four weeks keeping solid food down. I do think most if it is my own fault; not chewing properly and eating too much at once. I do know if I think about things and take my time I don't have nearly as many problems.
I went back to the clinic today and in those four weeks I've shed 4.8kg! (YAY for me!!) but the doc wasn't as pleased and thinks I may be too tight. She wanted to take some out but, thinking that my PB problems are my own fault and with the risk of infection every time I have the needle go in, I convinced her to wait another 6 weeks and see if the PBing has settled.
So I'm down to 155.7kg today, not getting too wrapped up in the figures but it looks good to be officially back in the 150s. I'm hoping to be able to step back on my scales by the end of July.
I also had my monthly undies photos taken again today and there is visible difference between last month and this month. (Not the photos aren't anywhere public for viewing, this is just how I try to visually keep track of how I look)
So now it's time to concentrate on eating properly and using thee first bite syndrome techniques.

Tracey,
I know what you mean about getting out of bed to get to the gym, there are some morning I'd prefer not to crawl out of the covers, but I know I feel bad if I don't go.
At the moment I'm just doing the treadmill and the lateral weights. I should really get back on the elliptical but I just find it so hard.
Keep at it Tracey, just looking at your photos proves it's worth it!
