It's me. St John of God Subiaco. I'm FINALLY getting my port repositioned and he is doing some scar revision ( and removing a tad more skin ) from my body-lift.
Darn a bright red fresh scars again. Good thing is that most of it will be over the top of the old one and to get to my port he is going through my belly button.

Hi Cheryl, I got mine for the deli in Woolworths, I think they were $5.95kg. They don't have them in the meat section you have to go to the deli.

most butchers have them even coles woolies etc sometimes have them in their deli section tho it depends on what suburb for the supermarkets.
Best pate is just throw butter chicken livers herbs of your choice into a wok or fry pan toss till cooked then throw in the blender with double cream ;) pour into moulds then pour a little melted butter over the top to seal it :)

Hi Marion,
Your menu sounds fantastic. I particularly love pate and have a recipe, but I don't know where to buy chicken livers. Where did you get yours? I'm in the northern suburbs and I know you in the Rockingham area, but it might give me an idea of where to go.
Many thanks

No JenE, not this weekend. However, that is on the cards for a group event! It's about 4km ( I think? )
Actually the walk on Sunday takes us along the edge of Kings Park past the Bali memorial and the main memorial down to the treetops walk. It takes in veiws of the city and river.
It's a really nice walk...and a little challenging on one particular hill.

It's great to read about everyone "moving"...either at the gym or hitting the pavement. Well done to you!
Hope to see a few more of you this Sunday either at JL or on the walk.
Janette and I are meeting at Stickybeaks at 9am and heading off to hit JL. Afterwards we will take the scenic city/river walk. If anyone is interested in joining us please do so. If you don't wish to attempt JL yet would like to go for a walk be at the Ladder by 9.45am I'm sure we will be done by then!

Well i'm a good girl today, did a circuit at the gym. I was surprised that I woke up quite sore from the kings park walk, anyone else? Sore bum and thighs, must be from the uphill parts of it.
I had a bit of a milestone today, we have to do 2 minute sprints during the circuit and I managed to jog/run (who knows what it was, all I know is that it was hard..lol) on the treadmill. It felt awesome to push myself to a limit and push past it. I really want to get to a stage that I can run the full lap of bridges, in the town that my children go to school.
Hope everyones enjoying the lovely weather.

It certainly was a good walk yesterday and a good way to kick start a walking routine now that Summer and the festive season is just around the corner.
Next weekend Janette and I are hitting Jacobs Ladder. We are meeting at SB at 9am. Afterwards we will take the scenic city/river walk. If anyone is interested in joining us please do so. If you don't wish to attempt JL yet would like to go for a walk be at the Ladder by 9.45am I'm sure we will be done by then!
Don't forget this is 'Walk Week' ( 2-8th Nov ) So ensure you get out and hit the pavement everyday this week!

Was a great walk, good company and lots of uphill...got hard to talk and walk there for a while..lol. Love my waterbottle, taking it to the gym tomorrow as I didn't have one. Wish I had not chicken'd out on jogging.
Was a great day, thanks again Coleen for the lift.

Well as those there this morning would have seen we did not make it. I was after 2am before we got to bed last night and I did not get up until nearly 10am. the kids had a good time tho. the place looked amazing with all the spooky stuff up. It is all down and cleaned up now. the male of the species and I tho have just got back from a 4km walk and feel so much better for it after the clean up we have done nothing but veg on the couch all day.
the sleevers are currently getting together a group for New years Eve at the Atrium. We do need numbers soon tho as it has to be paid for in advance. It is $160 a head including beer wine and softdrinks from 7pm until 1am along with entertainment. throw me an email or yell on the sleevers forum if you want to go . both the male of the species and myself are going.
