| Mother's Day Lunch Greenwood Hotel THIS FRIDAY 11th May 12.30pm in the bar off the restaurant. Our table will be ready for us at 1pm for lunch. PS We don't mind if you're not a mother or indeed not even a woman...any excuse for a G-T! A table has been booked...but it will be plenty big enough to accommodate any newbies wishing to come! | Well done Brian! For Kathy's friend that needs this info...and Tommo if you haven't worked it out already then try one of these. I now have this info as a word document b/c we are often asked and there are a few different ways to go aout it! To join "Bandsters" you will need an MSN email address and password. Send an email to Bandsters@groups.msn.com asking them to make you a member and explain that you are are interested in lap banding or have been banded. You must give a reason for membership as this is a protected site ( members only access) This is to prevent nuisance posts. Once you receive a welcome email confirming your acceptance you can log onto http://groups.msn.com/Bandsters Click on 'Pictures' (left-hand side in Menu) to view our album. Then go to the second page to find our first album -’ Perth TEDdy Bandits Get-Together’ (photos of our gatherings Nov 06-Mar07). I have just starting a new album that is on the first page ‘Perth TEDdy’s Album II’ ( photos Apr07>) OR access the site this way! http://groups.msn.com/browse.msnw?catid=104 ( if there are gaps in this address remove them before you try it! ) OR you can try it this way! Then once on the ninemsn site for Weight Issues Groups, 'Bandsters' is the second group down the list at this present time. If you click on ‘Bandsters’ it should tell you that you need to register...and go from there. OR this way! | ty Marion,, was a great time at your lovely home. So ty again for your grand hospitality. K,,, I told you there is always hope and my dear ,,you are taking the best way to change your life. We are all here as support for you, keep coming to our get togethers cos thats how u learn the most and we all understand where you have been and where you are coming from. That pic u saw of me was 2 years ago at my heaviest,,I was size 26 and started losing about June 2006 , was banded Aug 2006 and am now size 16 and over 40 kgs lighter..plz know that u can do this,,it is a different time of journey for us all. Hang on to the fact that we are all individuals and all go at a different pace, use the time before the op to kick start...it's soon now ,,I think u said 14th May? We are all here cheering for you and like I said at Marions,, I am not wishing you good luck cos luck plays no part in this. You are being given a tool and as long as u listen to the warning signs and sip sip sip and chew chew chew and chew ,, after the fluid stage of course,, you will be a star at this,,,I wish you all the very best and will see you soon hopefully...take care,,hugs,,Carol |
