| Chris, my appointment is at 1.15pm on the 24th, next Thursday. | Of course you can Duckie, newbies are always very welcome into the fold. If you are near Joondalup some are meeting at the Medical Centre tomorrow around 1pm, It's in the cafe I think. Or you could come to Sticky Beaks which is a cafe in Kings Park at 10.30am most Sundays. There are a few in our group who have got to goal and others at all different stages. Any of us would answer your questions. Marion |

| Hi people, I have been wanting to catch up with you lot for a while, I was banded in August 07. I really need help/information/encourag ement and advice??? I realise I am more than likely doing everything wrong and need to talk to someone else apart from the dietician and or my Doc, (Krishna Epari) about it. I feel really frustrated and confused. I am struggling to reach restriction or understand exactly what that means, I have 8ml in an 11 ml band now (topped up yesterday) and that seems to be going ok, although before the fill I had a reef n beef... Really just to test myself more than anything else. It was fine. I am a little confused about the whole thing. I need to talk to people who are doing/done this and can give me some sort of battle plan or direction. I'm just a bit lost.... I have seen the "event calendar" school hols posting and wonder if the Jacobs ladder climb is suitable to do with kids in tow (18 mth old & 9 year old) or is it really a ladder??? If so I can come to the cafe at 10.30. Any info is appreciated, Mel. |

| Vikki, I had never seen your before photo's... That's just incredible, your start weight is what I am now so that is fantastic inspiration. I've made lots of improvements after seeing you guys on saturday, what colleen said about food made a lot of sense and i've been changing my portion sizes and in what order I eat protein etc so thanks colleen. I'm going out tomorrow (as in leaving the country.lol) and I want to get a shake to have for brekkie, what was the name of the one that you recommended? and how much do you make up for yourself, do you half the serve etc. I was on day four today of chocolatelessness but succombed to 8 maltesers in the cinema today and as karma would have it I felt sick for having them as they felt stuck and there was escape to bp as I couldn't leave my boys in there....a lesson was learned!!! Today is day four without my macadamias and cashews, I should have given them the flick by now but i'm been eating them as comfort food. I have ordered a pair of bathers!!!! yick poo, just the idea makes me quiver with fear and angst, but they should arrive in a week or so and i'm going to go swimming with my boys, I thought I could leave the eight year old on the steps (in view) and carry Angus for some walking laps...fingers crossed they don't look too hideous. Thanks for your help and also moonlight is on tonight at 9:30 on channel 9, as I said I don't watch tv much but I made an exception...needs more vampires and less sexual tension but worth a look.
