Just a small NSV but an exciting one for me.......I tired on some size 18 summer capris that never fitted me but I had bought them as an incentive. On the weekend I could get them on easily without any struggle - I nearly cried. So I officially said goodbye to size 22 pants!!!!! I can't believe it.....
Woo Hoo
Next one I am aiming for is fitting into the plane seat comfortably in December and the tray table coming down flat with room to spare.....
HAve a great day everyone

Some great achievements here. Well done everyone.
Mine's rather odd (goes with the territory!). I can fit loads more items on the clothes airer because they don't take up nearly as much space as they used to! I used to struggle to the width of a top to fit on the length of the rungs - now they fit with lots of room to spare.
Told you it was odd. lol |

| I haven't been able to wear my wedding and engagement rings since Christmas time as they were too lose and I was worried I would lose them. So I stopped wearing them until I lost more weight. I have now had them resized and went down 3 1/2 sizes. They now look normal instead of like oversized curtain rings! They are still a little loser than I would like, but I can wear them without risking having them fall off! |

Last week I jogged 1 lap around the local footy oval (outside running track) without stopping! Been working up to it by umpiring 6 games of netball a week, playing 1 game a week and now doing 1 hour boot camp with personal trainer followed half an hour later with 1 full hour netball training.

| Lol - that is a great comment about your face Qui. I had a friend who hasn't seen me in a few months drop in yesterday and she said "oh wow, your eyes are slits anymore" - translation - I had such a fat face my eyes looked very slitty....now they have opened up!!!! Yay......go have that facial, you so deserve it..... |

good on you wattle, great feeling isn't it?
arn66au, my jeans are very loose now, but still have to unbutton... but it will not be long before they will slip off too. It is a great feeling when the clothes are feeling looser. My husband says he can see it in my face that I have lost weight. The only bad thing is that the wrinkles will start appearing. But I guess at nearly 60 I should be having wrinkles anyway :) I might go and have a facial one of these days as a treat. |

| This is nothing much, but my husband and I went out today to do some "legwork" for my daughter who is getting married in November and works nights so has little time to look for things for the wedding. Today we were checking out where she could get nice bridesmaides dresses. We walked past MY SIZE, and I said to my husband, I am never buying anything from that show ever again! He looked at me and said Why not, what's wrong with them? I said, I am not ready to buy anything new just yet, but when I do, they will not have my size... That is when the penny dropped and he burst out laughing. |

NSV - Non Scale Victory is a victory that is celebrated by not being weighed e.g. being able to cross your legs, jeans that were too small for you now fit, when flying not having to ask for an extender seatbelt. |

i forget what NSV stands for lol
im in double digits as of two weeks ago - does that count?
Im also starting to get more looks from males. Im not sure whether to be flattered or insulted (if they didnt like me when i was fat, there not having me when im skinny mentality).
I need belts to keep my pants up - they are all 3 sizes too big for me and literally fall off if i dont have a belt.
I refuse to buy anything new til xmas. I want to wear the bigger clothes out a little bit, it seems a waste to get rid of them and buy new stuff, even though i look like a dag. I also figure ill lose more weight by then anyway.
ohh.. and my bras that fitted me are now too big around the body. The bras that were too small I have stopped using the extender for! (strangely the cup size hasnt changed).

This may not seem like a NSV, but it is a huge mile stone for me.
I flew for the first time after banding a couple of weeks ago, and I have always had to ask for the belt extender - and I still had to this time, but the extender was shortened to its smallest length just to give that extra couple of inches I needed. That means the next time I fly I may not need it at all.

Hi all,
I brought 2 pair of designer label jeans this week. I'm still wearing size 16 but 15 months ago l was wearing size 26 so a huge NSV for me personally. I even had to buy the slim fit ones.

Hi Ladies,
With regards to Dream Diva, I live in South East Qld and came across their web site online and have bought some really nice clothing for my daughter as it is hard to find younger trendy clothing other than Kmart, Target, Big W ect.
If you do a google search you will easily find the store online. They also have some great sales and the postage normally is $11, which is nothing if you are happy with an item.
Enjoy,
Gerry |

My mate asked me to be bridesmaid at her wedding in september, like first week of sept! Anyways we went to melbourne shopping yesterday, and i am not a dress person, i admit it now. We went to the shop she got her wedding dress from, they were all like $300 plus! Bugger that! We went to a shop called dream diva in bridge rd, Ohh the dresses there are pretty, i had about 8 in the room with me at once! haha. Anyways, getting to the point, i tried on a dress, showed her, and we both loved it, it suits my body sooo good. I have never found a dress that i have liked soo much!
Ohh, and the amount of walking we did yesterday would be a NSV for me aswell haha, we were shopping for 9 hours!
