Re:NSV's Reply to this message
I was on the train today and comfortably sat in one seat - not spilling over into the one next to me!

Had to pull the car seat forward a notch as well - that's gotta be at least 3 notches forward from being at it's extreme and absolutely pinned against it by the seatbelt! LOL Oh - and there's actually space on the seat as well, and I don't have to blindly search for where the belt fits in the slot - it's actually visible!

Also last years birkenstock sandals are humungous!! very sad that they don't fit anymore.

Shrinking is great!!!

I have been doing placement work for the last few weeks in a nursing home, and come home looking for something to do rather than a chair to park my butt in!!
Pre banding my legs ached all the time!

Re:NSV's Reply to this message
Hi everyone, have had some good NSV's lately and loving the journey....but what the heck, the more weight I lose the more my ears stickout. My hubby calls them my wing nuts...grrr.

Turns out now that my face is slimming down, my ears are becoming very "noticeable".

Oh well
lmao

Saw an old friend yesterday, her jaw dropped. Seh was so stunned! told me i looked fantastic, it was really nice to hear.
I have been at goal weight for 2 years, so not that many people pay me compliments like they did when I first lost it all, it made me day!

Re:NSV's Reply to this message
It's wonderful to read all the NSV's. Mel that's lovely to be able to buy a beautiful dress in a normal size and feel good in it.

After dropping 60kgs my days are full of NSV's. I never ever thought I'd be able to get dressed, look in the mirror and feel normal.

The 2 overseas flights I have had this year have made me feel like I'm in business class as opposed to economy - there's just so much more room and comfort.

I love my band!

Re:NSV's Reply to this message
Had a few recently so I thought I would share:
Took my first flight in about 5 years. Fit easily...felt comfortable. Table did not quite make it all the way down though.

Had a really 'interesting' reaction the other day. Was going to watch my school play a football game and as I was walking to the stands some boys (who are now in high school) were training on a near by field. One of them saw me and stared. Next minute there were seven of them doing the same and saying things like 'holy s**t' (which didn't impress me being a teacher and all!). That has been my most extreme reaction so far.

Finally, had a boy in my class today who waited until everybody had left and asked me if I was shrinking...which was kind of cute.

Re:NSV's Reply to this message
Good one, Arn! I remember doing the same thing inadvertently, and later realising that I had crossed my legs for the first time in years. It was a great feeling.

I can hardly believe I'm saying this, but my bum seems to have (almost) disappeared. Now of course that hasn't happened overnight, but looked in the mirror yesterday and wondered why my back was so straight - turns out it just continued flatly down to my legs!

Just a small one - but exciting for me. I was at a meeting the other day and then realised that I had crossed my legs. There I was sitting in a chair with my legs crossed and it was so weird because I haven't been able to do it properly for years so just didn't do it.......

Love hearing "NSV's"

Arn :)

Re:NSV's Reply to this message
This is a weird one!!
I want to buy a strapless dress or halter neck dress for summer but being of ample body and boobs in the past I have always steered clear of them.
Now that I am 30 kgs lighter, I have tried a few dresses on in Target etc but found my ample bosom didn't quite fit.
So I went to City Chic and tried on a small sized strapless dress. Ihe good news was it fit the "Girls" but if I had bought it I would have to take in at least 5 inches on each hip!!
I didn't buy it and the search continues!
