Re:NSV's Reply to this message
I am not sure if this is a NSV. I can now buy pretty bra's but now have one boob nearly a whole cup size smaller than the other. Not noticable until I put a bra on.
Keep smiling

Also size 12 skirt although a gypsy skirt but fitted around the hips and then falls away. Also went to kmart today and found some tops - girls express I realised later which have to be smaller and managed to get a 14 and 16!!

Re:NSV's Reply to this message
OK Susie, thanks for the postive example. I can't walk 10 km yet but I did walk for 45 minutes at a nice steady pace yesterday.

It felt good to get moving again. Mack

Re:NSV's Reply to this message
My NSV this morning is that I'm about to head out the door for a 10km walk. Not because I should, or I have to ... but because it's a glorious morning and I get so much enjoyment out of exercise these days, that I WANT to get out of bed on a Sunday morning and put my runners on!!

My band has truly changed my life :-D

Re:NSV's Reply to this message
Hey Mack

I have noticed the same things with my shoes too - none of my summer sandles fit as my feet slide right out of the front part that can't be adjusted.

I have had my first clean out too but have kept a pair of jeans (sz 22 - very tight at time) and bra that I had a before photo in the night before the op surgery for my monthly before and after shot. When I put those jeans on now and walk they slip down to my ankles - wow - I never thought that would happen.

Go the band and me of course!!!!

Not many clothes in the wardrobe now but hey who cares !!!

Cheers

Arn

Re:NSV's Reply to this message
and a dress!! Woo! Dresses are small-fitting things.

Way to go.

My latest NSV is someone commenting that I don't need to go to gym and lose anymore weight. Bless them, cos I'm 74kg, 160cm and they haven't seen my stomach or thighs naked...;) lol

I went to a wedding last night and the amount of people who came up to me and commented on how good I looked was amazing. Some even walked past me as they didnt recognized me

Re:NSV's Reply to this message
Tried the 1000 steps for the first time this morning (for those not familiar with it, its a walk in the Dandenong Ranges), never expected to make it all the way to the top in the time I had available, but thought I would give it a go, and then try to get further next time.

Well, I made it to the top!!! And with a whole 2 minutes to spare.

Now I have to work on doing it without as many stops LOL.

Cheers
Sue

Re:NSV's Reply to this message
My first NSV is a bit odd. I've lost weight off my feet and had to adjust the straps on my sandals and buy new shoes for work because I keep walking out of the old ones. My first clean out of fat clothes and shoes are packed and going straight into the charity bin. 18 kilo gone forever, and about 40 more to follow! Mack

Re:NSV's Reply to this message
Man Sassy!!!

36kg?!?!?!?! You rock!

By the way girls - if you wanna talk about milking it some more next time you see someone you wanna shock, get yourself one of those skinny underwear suit thingo's! A friend of mine had one of those on today and she looked amazing - she's lost 12kg and has 20kg to go (she's not getting banded at the moment)and the suit had sucked her in by at least a size!

She told me it took 20 mins to get it on but it looked worth it!

Have to find the name of it now.....LOL

Thanks Sassy... I am doing ok. Slow and steady, a bit sore, as I said, feel like I have a roll of barbed wire under each arm, but it is a small cost for the lovely outcome.

I am happy to email photos if you want a before and an after.

Hi Mel

Yes, I am but am aware I still have a way to go. Buoyed by my success I have made a resolution to get into that exercise more and step it up now. Hope you have a good recovery from your surgery.

Re:NSV's Reply to this message
hahahahahahahahahahaha HA HA! Still laughing!

I have lost 36kg and look very different now and actually a lot younger too! It was SWEEEEET! My one year bandiversary was last week!! All the years of belittling and sarcasm I used to get from them. I milked it for all it was worth too groovers! I bought a very slimming dress and my hair is now long and well groomed and my make-up was impeccable. They looked dowdy and fat and I looked fabulous..HUGE for my self-esteem.

hahahahahahahaha - sweet!

I am laughing with you. Well done!
